I scanned these helpful illustrations by Carl Rose from the 1945 book Stork Bites Man, by Louis Pollock. Of course, not every baby will hit these developmental benchmarks at exactly the same rate, but they serve as a useful yardstick to gauge just how far your baby is lagging behind everyone else’s.
