A weird lawsuit in Italy made some buzz awhile back, when an atheist sued a priest for claiming that Jesus Christ existed. “Court to Decide Existence of Christ” said the headlines, or something similar.
Well, the atheist lost, and lost big. The judge even recommended that he be charged with slander.
But actually, this wasn’t the first time Christ’s existence has been decided by Roman law. They’re the guys who tried to end it the first time. It seems they’ve had a change of heart since then.
