Expect no sympathy from the American intelligentsia: they’ll point out that it’s such a racist game, what with White always getting the first move and all.
It’s also sexist. The Queen is more powerful than the King, but she’s expendable! And don’t get me started on Bishops!
This is just crazy talk. Checkers is still around, please still play it. A good game never really dies. There will always be a die hard group that will play it.
