Which is seven years longer than the daily Oklahoma Journal (1964-1980) managed to survive, now that I think about it.
I’m starting to think that the end began when the Children of Gaylord shortened the name of their paper: after all, the very name of the Gayly Oklahoman was intended as a poke in OPUBCO’s eye.
